The sign of a true and dear friend is one who goes clothes shopping with you because you've recently lost a lot of weight, have no clue what looks good on yourself anymore and you have a job interview during the coming week, WHILE they are cranky and not feeling particularly social.

And a true friend is one who will look at you and go "put that back on the rack" and "if you ever put anything like that on your body again I'll kill you".

Forget "yes that makes your ass look big". It's the threat of homicide that means real friendship.
