on the scroll front
Jun. 8th, 2006 10:08 pmI have inked in the illumination for the writ.
I forgot how much I actually don't like doing Italian White Vine. Mainly because unlike Celtic, there isn't a pattern, a rhythm to the flow. I like the evenness. While I hate math because of the numbers, I like the mathmatical feel of celtic. I like the steadiness of knotwork.
I have the wording ready for the writ. But I want to gold and color the illumination first. I lost my gold leafing stuff when I moved almost two years ago (my god has it been that long already?) so I need to either go with gold paint or go out this weekend and get more leafing stuff.
I still need to do the wording for the Fleur and actually sit down and draw it. but I think I want to get the writ done before I start on another scroll. One at a time they say.
But it's late so I'm not going to do anymore tonight. I don't know if tomorrow will be fruitful since it's the day I give my notice at work and may or may not have family dinner. (I hope we do)
