Despite not sitting down to the sewing machine until sometime between one and two I got a lot done.

3 pairs of pants done save for running a drawstring through them.

One ghawazee completely done (well 2 actually but the one I realized too late that I didnt' give enough ease for my ever expanding rib cage. I'm having the exact opposite of one of my flisters... my boobs are shrinking cuz of the "lifestyle readjustment" but my ribs have actually enlarged due to a year of rather bad asthma attacks. Anyway... theboomboom if you or anyone you know who has a small rib cage like yourself could use/wants a mock persian coat/ghawazee even for knock around stuff let me know. It should fit you or someone of your build).

One ghawazee cut out and sewn. Just needs the armhole topstiched, a hem turned under and button/button holes.

I was going to sew together the norman Boo cut out for me but it's so damn hot that just the thought about working with wool today made me sweat.

Also got the frogs sewn on the hood. I have another hood I'd like to make yet but that will be a "only if I get most if not all the rest of my other sewing done".

I still need to work on thinking on the scroll I have to do for pennsic.

Is it me or does it seem like War comes earlier every year. And I'm terrified about having everything together next year. I mean... they are moving the date of the war earlier in the year.

Oh well.

Off to sit in the air conditioned bedroom and read the new In Death book.

Me please! I actually don't HAVE one and always have to borrow one for harem night. I have the fabric for a lovely one, and a pattern, but don't know if it will happen.

I have the issue that my rib cage is also larger. Sigh...hadn't thought about whether it was the lungs again. You're right. I'm back on all the inhalers.
