more progress
Jul. 30th, 2006 10:46 pmConsidering I didn't start sewing today until after 6 I got a lot done.
This morning was walk with
dicea Did the pier again today. It was hotter than I thought it was going to be. Think I got a bit dehydrated. Definately got more sun than I was planning.
Did pennsic shopping, got my pavillion from my mother's garage. More Pennsic shopping then back to Boo and Boogie's house to relax and watch a movie.
Came home and ate a quick dinner before heading up to the black abyss.
Put "Walk the Line" in the DVD player. Liked it.
Got the rest of the eeyore cotehardie done that I planned on getting done. It needs buttons and hem.
Got the green pants done (just needs a drawstring). Got a green tunic done. I'd like to get some beading done on thetrim on the green tunic but that might be a "something to do while I sit and relax in camp" project.
Only things left for me to sew are: 1 brown flannel cotehardie, potentially one brown flannel norman tunic. I'd like to make one veil out of the muslin I have left since right now I have no bloody clue where my white veil is. I can find my burgandy one. And the safety orange one I already made. The only white one I can find is my russian one and that one won't work for puttering around Pennsic since it's at least 4 feet long.
On the up side of things, I found my belt. The one I've been missing since pennsic last year. Silly me never looked in the pennsic bin that holds all my hangers.
I've also found three of my sets of boots. Just gotta find my red ones. They could all stand to use a round of polish but we will see if that happens.
I'm feeling pretty confident now for Pennsic. Tomorrow I will get the brown cote sewn so that after work at Baum's on Tuesday I can swing by mom's and she can help me mark hems. I will need the brown flannel, the eeyore cote and the one wool norman dress all marked.
The current plan for Pennsic is... this friday Pack the van with mine and Boogie's stuff. Saturday pick Boogie up in the morning and drive down. I don't see getting on sight much before noon since we'd have to wait for land grab stuff to be sorted out anyway. I'll come home Sunday night.
I have to work next Monday - Thursday. I'll then go back down Friday morning and be there until the end.
Anyway. Now I have to feed the furballs and shower my manky self and hit the sack. Morning always seems to come earlier and earlier all the time.
