But... this is too much.
I got no "at the machine" sewing done today. the sewing room is too stuffy and I was not about to turn an iron on too.
And the last thing I wanted to do was sit and wrestle with 5 yards worth of heavy flannel.
But I'm still being productive. I'm sewing the buttons on my eeyore cote.
Have to work at Baum's tomorrow night then I don't have to go back for two and a half weeks!
I'm very seriously thinking of coming back from Pennsic and giving my official final notice. I got my replacement more or less trained. And the commute from Cheektowaga to Hamburg to Amherst back to Cheektowaga twice a week is too much on the pocketbook (the
second job is just to put gas in the car to get to said second job).
Wednesday and Thursday is packing for War. I want to take as much down the first weekend as possible so that I know we can get it all back home when it's time to break camp and return to mundania.
I at least also now have ideas for the scroll that needs to be done for war. I've been thinking about it a lot and now finally have the layout in my head. (that's the biggest part for me).
It's going to be a small one. It's been a while since I've done something small and delicate. I just hope the recipient likes it.
Anyway. I'm heading back to the bedroom and the AC.
