Awesome trailor for a must see movie. And if you haven't seen the short-lived show. Go get the DVD's right now and watch them! It's a must.

Hopefully the movie will get the TV exec's to bring back the show.

Bring back the series?

I wouldn't hold out much hope. Studios make more on DVDs, made nearly a billion on the B5 sets, and still WB won't fund a film. Firefly was too smart for television, and I suspect will be too smart for the average member of the movie-going public. Right now, the only SciFi anyone is interested in is simplistic melodrama, especially if it includes lightsabers and cute aliens.

I'm still gasping in shock that Whedon got to make Serenity at all. His reward--remake Wonder Woman. Be afraid, be very afraid. Can you say "Howard the Duck"?
