Oh Gorram it was so SHINEY!!!

So I signed up on line for this blogger's pass to see the sneak preview for the movie "Serenity". Got my friend Eric to go with me. got there and the two of us and another blogger show up with our printed out email and show it to the manager who blinks at us like we have all grown four heads.

I had a sneaking suspicion that the thing was a dud but figured it was worth the try.

But luckily one of the radio stations in town was doing the preview as well and all three of us go in anyway for free.

We had an hours wait from sit down to show but another scadian came in and she and I sat talking while Eric either dozed or talked with this unknown blogger who we met in the lobby and like me had been duped.

then the lights go down and the movie starts.

Words cannot.... CANNOT I tell you.... cover this movie.

If you have even seen only one episode of the tv show you need to see this movie. If you haven't you still get told enough to know what is going on.

I will not spoil it for any who wish to see it. I won't even put it behind a cut so that you cannot be tempted to see.

But the action was magnificent where there was action. The quiet was good where it was quiet and there were just enough "They didn't just do that" to keep you surprised. And the expected straight lines were perfect. Just Kaylee saying "I ain't had nothing between my nethers for over a year that ain't been powered by batteries" was worth going to see it.

Several questions about River were answers. Many questions about Book were left unanswered.

I will definately be going back to see it again and will be all over owning the DVD.

I was so excited about seeing the movie I forgot to tell you all the important news.

Friday 8:30 I have a job interview!

Like Svan I am suddenly having an appointment and will be into work when I get done. (which will be when I finish the interview then go home to change so it doesn't look like I was at an interview)

It's with some company called Capital Management. I'm not seeing the name on any of the things I mailed out so it might have been one of those PO Box ones I sent out. But I sent out the resume's yesterday and they called me today. They wanted me to come in tomorrow but that was too short a notice to come up with something to tell the boss. So doctor's appointment it is on Friday.

The wierd thing is I'm interviewing with someone who's last name is the same as mine. I don't know if that bodes good or ill for me.

*finger's crossed*
