Sep. 28th, 2005 11:36 pmSo it looks like I won't be going to work at all on Friday. I got a call today for another position. They asked if I could come in at 2:30 for the interview.
I'm to the point of not caring anymore about the current one taht I said sure. I'll take the whole f'ing day off. I will miss Nadine's last day party but when I told her why i'd be missing it she told me she would have kicked my ass if I hadn't taken te interview just because it was her last day at SJB hell.
This one's for a legal assistant for a not-for-profit group in the city. I'm interviewing with the immigration lawyer that I am assuming the assistant is for. NFP can be a tough road to work for. And this is in a not to good section of the city. But I figure it can't hurt to investigate the position.
I gotta get out of this place. Before my mind, stomach, ethics and pride go down the toilet... (well they would if we had working ones yet. Which we don't. - today was glue down the carpet while people where in the building and we needed all go out ever 20 minutes for fresh air. I wish I had had the guts to call osha again on their sad sacks).
anyway. I'm off to bed.
