Health report
May. 2nd, 2006 07:38 pmYesterday I moved from the one mile to the two mile with "Walk away the Pounds". I'm actualy enjoying this workout. The instructor puts just enough variation into it that you don't grow bored with each step.
I however am not shelling out $10 + s&h for the "walk away weighted balls" (pauses for obligatory snickers and rude comments from the peanut gallery) so I'm just using the walking weights I picked up weeks ago at the dollar store.
I'm feeling the work out now in my back as it's a longer use of the weights than the one mile and in my calves. when I first started it was in the glutes and thighs.
I still haven't gotten the compunction to get up early and do the one mile before work but maybe next week. I figure it's a big step to just do something every day once a day.
I do not expect much change at weigh in tomorrow. I overate some during my experiement with the wendie plan. But If I can maintain from last week I'll be extremely happy.
On a side note, the antibiotics are working. This morning I was coughing and sneezing up some rather gross things but since nothing had been happening before I take that as a good sign that my body is kicking it out rather than keeping it in.
I'm glad it's only a 5 day treatment though as (TMI time) I can tell it's changed my body chemistry slightly as I don't like my current personal aroma even after showering. Oh well, if it means getting the crud out, I"ll deal.
Anyway, off to a shower and then settle in for part two of "Ranch House" on PBS.
OH... Boo... missing wallet has been found. Someone went and put it in a pocket of a different pair of jeans. And the crack is still here on the computer table waiting for you.
