The cupcakes came out yummy. The girls seemed to like them too.

They were a little sticky. I'm not sure how it would translate for a regular sized cake (stickiness factor) but other than that I really liked it and will definately try it again.

The recipe is simple:

Take one cake mix (any flavor and brand), pour into bowl. Add one CAN diet soda (any flavor you think would go well with said cake mix flavor). Mix.

Bake as normal. I added about 5-10 minutes to the instructions just because of the stickiness to see if that would bake out some.

Enjoy.

the only calories/nutritional stuff you're dealing with is that of the cake mix itself. The original recipe also called for fat free cool whip as a low cal frosting.

We discussed a spice cake with root beer, chocolate with grape (that was Boogie's idea), chocolate with orange or diet vanilla coke, and so on. The people who first mentioned the recipe said that chocolate with cola was good as you don't taste the cola just the chocolate.

The one I made was duncan hines lemon supreme with Wast Watchers Diet Citrus Frost. I like it very much. May try it next time with diet 7-up to see how that changes the flavor if any.

Enjoy experimenting

You scored as Gambit. Gambit is another loner character. He loves Rogue. He has a very cool deboner personality. He's done things in his past that he's not proud of but he atones for his actions by fighting for peace with the X-Men. His weapon of choice is the playing card. Powers: Charges objects with kinetic energy by touching them, then they explode like grenades.

Yesterday was the great Cake experiment. General vote was success.

Today was the great Potato Trial.

We had a little grilling for late lunch/early dinner. Pork Chops ala Dicea. So I volunteered to make the side dish.

Now at all me WW meetings they are contantly warning about watching what your intake and stuff is during holidays and cookouts. Since Boogie doesn't care for mayo-based salads (potato salad, mac salad, etc), I decided to try making french fries.

I pulled out one of my WW cookbooks and tried a couple different kinds.

One... cut up potatoes into fry like shapes, combine with 2 Tbsps olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake in oven until crispy.

Two: cut up potatoes into fry like shapes, combine with 2 egg whites, 3/4 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chili powder. Well we didn't have chili powder so I used regular paprika and a bit of black pepper. Bake in oven until crispy.

The third way I just did on my own. cut up potatoes into fry like shapes, coat with fat free italian dressing. bake until crispy.

when done, lightly salt and pepper again the first version, sprinkle with salt and more paprika on the second version, and the italian version dust with garlic powder.

I think I may have over cooked them but they weren't bad. You'll have to get the girls' opinion on them for full verdit.

The average I believe was 2 pts per serving on them.
