Saturday morning

It's a cold and snowy Saturday morning.

Outside the big squirrel has managed to knock down one of the bird feeders and is munching away. I should put on my boots and shoo him away and rehang the feeder but I'm feeling generous.

Came downstairs this morning to find that the wind that came through last night blew loose the plastic on the kitchen window. I don't know if that is a testament to how bad the wind was, how crappy the seal on the window is or how horrible the double sided table that came with the plastic is. It also blew loose the plastic on the master bathroom window. I"ll get around to fixing it later.

Right now I'm enjoying the quiet of the house with nothign but the pitter tip tap of Grimm's toes on the linoleum of the hallway as sound.

Today Grimm and Mr. D have to go to the vet for their secound round of puppy shots.

AFter that, my plans are fairly loose. Work some more on the kitchen, see what the Girls want to do for dinner if anything, get some of the laundry taken care of.

But I'm not going to stress about anything. It's Saturday after all. It's all good.

Good Puppy

Grimm was good at the vet today.

He didn't cry or whine when he got his temperature taken or given his shot.

He weighed in for a whopping 2 pounds 5 ounces.

Mr. Darcy came in at 2 pounds 1 ounce.

Or to quote one of my former co-workers "Two pounds of pure attitude".

We came home and had a special lunch (he got a hamburger from BK) and he's now sleeping soundly in his snuggly cube.

Good day. Not motivated to do anything tonight. The housework won't go anywhere if I take an evening off.
