Snow!

Yep it's december.

WE've had a few dustings but today I woke to Tzar banging on the plastic on the bedroom windows and crying. I got up to shoo him away and saw the neighborhood covered in a beautiful blanket of white.

I don't mind snow so long as I don't have to go out into it. Of course I will have to, I need to go now convince the snow blower to work. The neighborhood that the doma is in actually fines you if you don't clear your sidewalks. They don't care about your driveways so long as the sidewalks are clear.

So I'll get a quick breakfast and bundle up and go tackle mother nature.

The plans for the rest of the day are fairly liquid.

Stupid snowblower refused to cooperate.

Shoveling a 2.5 car wide driveway is not my idea of fun. Until such time as snow blower works... side parking pad is not getting cleared.

ARGH!

So, way back when, I was cleaning the house out and found a TON of frozen dinner trays that my mother seemed to have been hording. I tossed them.

So of course now I could use them. I have found that with having the time available, I"m actually cooking meals rather than just grabbing something quick.

Unfortunately I can't make just one serving of anything. I make lots of it. I'd like to make up individual meals, or as theboomboom used to call them when we were all roommates- "Mom Meals". Afterall one can only eat goulash or soup or meatloaf and potatoes for every meal for so long before getting really sick of it.

Goulash and soup I can use up a lot of my gladware but meals with more than one dish, the frozen meal containers would have been much more helpful.
