Wahhhhhh!

So I get up, get dressed for going out, totally looking forward to going out to the zoo today.

I come down and check the zoo's website to see what time the zoo opens. And discover... in January and February they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. WTF?!?!?

Oh, yes I know it's a cost saving thing and all. But still. It's 60ºF out. I want to go commune with the animals.

MEH!

Of course this means I could do important things like... laundry and doing a bit of house work. But still.

I hate it when my plans get thrown out of whack.

Mighty Puppy

Because I can't go to the zoo today I decided to take a walk. I took Grimm with me so it wasn't a very long walk. We walked the length of my block twice.

For his first time really on a leash he did wonderfully. I wouldn't really let him sniff much but otherwise he was good. He didn't need much encouragement to stay by me and he walked the Chihuahua strutt all the way.

Well, up until the house on the corner let their bull mastiff out into the backyard. Grimm was fine up until said mastiff saw the puppy and barked. At which point, Grimm let out one low growl and bark and then tried to run his little feet right off away from the big dog.

You know, I'll accept running away from big dog rather than try to stand his ground/attack.

Maybe we will go out into the backyard later if it's not too swampy.

So I have a fish. A pleico. I call him moose. Today he was out and not only visible, he was kinda posing. So I took a picture.
