Ramblings of a bored ekat

So I'm sitting here in an empty office.

Office mate is off today
Boss is in Pakistan
Marketing Director (office across from mine) is off today

Right now it's me, two news anchors and 4 production staff. News anchors leave by 12.

I've already gotten my "things to do" list taken care of for all but the two things I can't do until after 1pm.

I guess I will make up my shopping list for the stuff I need to get for the weekend.

Doma is pretty much ready for guests. Just need to run a vacuum upstairs in the hall, blow up the air mattress for the futon and make it and the hospital bed.

Tonight I will make up the lasagna for dinner tomorrow and get everything I can prepped so that when we get back from the event it just needs to go into the oven.

Need to still figure out what garb I'm going to wear tomorrow.

For those who have asked, Grimm is doing just fine after his surgery. He's racing around and playing with the cats like his old self. Though when it's time to go upstairs he gives me the pathetic eyes and whines with the "But momma, it hurts to climb the stairs... carry me"

It will be interesting to see how Grimm takes to having Ping and Penelope visit for the weekend.

Oh the joy

Of trying to shop for 2 breakfasts and one full dinner for 10 people that is wheat free, corn free, soy free, beef free and fat low/free.

And they don't make the printing on the labels easy to read anymore.
