checking in

My sister made it in on Thursday. She got home time with the Little Butt while i went to work on Friday. while I was at work she also managed to help me by disconnecting the busted hose on the washer and put most of the furniture back in the family room.

Today Dicea and I got up early and did grocery shopping. My back started really hurting half way through the shopping. Got home had lunch and sis and I are tackling other things around the house.

#1 - she got the washer hooked back up! No leaks so far. We are running a load without any clothes just to check and make sure before we tackle the pile of clothes that got drenched in the flood.

I got a new carpet cleaner on Wednesday. That was the sign to me that I'm getting old when the new carpet cleaner and how clean it makes the carpets is classified as "That is so cool!" Wednesday night I got the family room done. Today the dining room is done. We've dragged the area rug that had gotten drenched in the flood into the living room and as soon as I stop sneezing I'm going to clean that and the living room rug.

Tonight we have dinner (turkey cutlets like mom used to make) and I do laundry. I don't know if sis is going to tackle any of the boxes of stuff she needs to go through this trip or not.

Tomorrow is mow the lawns and check if the grill works as Monday my aunt and uncle are coming over to see sis and visit and have food.

Busy long weekend. but that's good.
