Borrowed the weed wacker from the girls so I could get the front lawn "mowed". Lawn mower is still a no go. I'm going to see if I can meet up with neighbor Ron and see if he has any suggestions beyond "get it fixed". Mom always called Ron for mechanical stuff, I might as well continue with the tradition.
I really can't afford taking the mower in for repairs. But if I don't want to face eventual fines from the town and civic association, I need to come up with a solution of some kind. though for now, the back yard can continue to go wild.
Giving thinks to what to do on Friday, what with having a day off and all. I'm giving serious thinks to trying to tackle more of the garage to at least be able to unearth my pennsic stuff and find the bins of garb. Saturday I have some errands to run then the girls and I go to see Wicked. Should also cut out some garb for Pennsic so I can have it ready to just sit and sew when I come home from work over the next couple weeks.
For those who read about my discovery of the killdeer, Grimm and I encountered three today on our walk. All three ran along the sidewalk in front of us, just out of reach of the extendo leash. Grimm really didn't know what to make of it.
To add to the bird list, today I saw two wild turkeys walking along the railroad tracks by work and I saw an egret or heron like bird flying as I drove home.
so... good for the day = "played" with Killdeer and added to the bird list
con = lawn mower ugh.
I shall go on.
