*shakes head*
Jan. 2nd, 2009 02:35 pm1. Editing staff left at 12:30. Director of Programming came in from out of office morning meetings at 2:20 and asked where they went. I had told them to wait until at least 2:30 but did they listen to me? NOooooOOOOOoo. Wonder just how much trouble they will be in.
2. In office now is just me, Director of Advertising sales and Programming Director. Mhd. (the Sales director) comes off the back floor, running into my office freaking out. I finally get him to tell me he saw a mouse by the copier. I sigh, grab an empty garbage can and go look. Yep. Little guy curled up near the heat vent sound asleep. I felt sorry for the little guy as I scooped him up from the floor in the garbage can and took him outside and released him in a group of bushes a bit of distance from the office. All he was looking for was someplace warm to nap. This is the second mouse I've had to catch because no one else in the office is brave enough to tackle the big scary mouse. And they won't grasp that the office is technically a warehouse/loading dock and we do not have airtight doors on the loading dock and mice will sometimes get in, especially in the winter just looking for a warm place to be safe.
Fear my leet animal wrangling skilz.
