Lots of puppies!
May. 4th, 2009 08:25 pmGrimm has Therapy Dog testing on June 1st.
On my way home today I had the sudden remembering that today was Monday, and Mondays are puppy class. So I called Miss Judi to see if Grimm and I could come for a couple classes as refreshers to prepare for June 1st. She said sure
So Grimm and I went to class and will for the next two weeks (when this session ends).
He was the smallest there. The next closest in size was a cocker spaniel. Then there was some kind of pointer, a standard poodle, 3 golden retriever sisters, a HUGE pit bull and a rott.
Grimm was a little intimidated but he held is own and he showed them all how long sits and downs are supposed to be. For the first time EVER he did the full 5 minute down. Of course I still had to more or less drag him through figure 8s, but towards the end he actually moved his feet and everyone cheered.
He did good. Held his own and proved to me that he really should have no problems come June 1st and his testing.
