May. 3rd, 2009 11:50 amback yard has been weed wacked into submission. I just need to rake it up but that can wait until later today.
I am thinking that I should just let the crab grass go and take over the entire back yard. It's thicker, sturdier and much greener than the regular grass back there.
I hate having to week wack the back yard but right now there are still lots of puddles of standing water so it's too wet to get the mower through most of it. In fact I think in the next couple years I'm going to have to consider replacing the shed. THe rabbits have been living under there and with the water and all, it appears to actually be sinking.
But fence comes first. I need to look into how much a new panel of fencing is and go talk to fence installers to see if it would just be worth it to get someone professional to put in one panel. I will let all who volunteered to help know the results.
Another project is to rip out the dead tree in the front landscaping and replace it. But that will have to wait until another paycheck or two.
