You know you're a home owner when you think that the best money you have spent in a really long time was on a weed-wacker.
Though, I am coming close to seriously considering offering "special" favors to get someone to tackle the backyard.
It is finally dry enough to use the lawn mower. But because it's been so damp back there that the grass has gotten too high to use the mower. So I need to weed-wack it. After 1.5 hours I have the front yard mowed and wacked, and half of the back yard wacked.
I need to finish the other half, then rake it all up, then I can mow it.
I feel bad. My neightbor has spent the week planting flowers in her back yard (no not the crazy italian but the nice one next door), and here I can't even get the stupid lawn mowed.
I'd like to also get some roundup and tackle the weeds in the front landscaping so I can then get mulch as well as replace the dead tree.
But right now, I'd settle for just a mowed back yard
