Guilty Pleasure confession

Ever since I was a little girl, one of my fondest memories was sitting in front of my grandparent's Christmas tree just watching their antique bubble lights.

It was the only thing I really wanted from their estate and of course it was the one thing that was never found.

Anyway, while surfing a catalog today I found something that I sooooooo want. And if anyone got them for me, I would be totally tickled and PROUDLY display

Frustrated

So a while ago I bought this beautiful yarn. It was on clearance so I bought all there was.

I love it. I want to make something for my sister from it as I think it's a very her color.

But for over a year now, every time I pick up the yarn and a hook I get about 5 stitches into it and find myself ripping it out because it doesn't feel right.

I get it. The yarn knows what it wants to be. I just wish it would tell me soon as I'd like to make something out of it for her for Xmas.
