Plans for the night

-Survive the drive home. It's getting icy out. It's too warm to snow so we get rain that is freezing. Joy

-Stop and pick up the things I wanted from a Freecycle person. (Vintage crochet and cross stitch patterns)

-Do that little bit of grocery shopping needed for the weekend.

-Pictures of the yips (all but one done)

-Quick vacuum and change sheets on guest bed for the Duchess

-Work on scroll. It's not due until the 30th but as I'm not going to the event I would like to get it done to give to Their Majesties this weekend so they have it and I don't have to pay for shipping.

Though I suppose I should finish the work day first.

Whoa, like whoa

So I got an email at work today forwarded to me from my boss. It was signed Ekat. I sat there for a minute trying to figure out why I would have sent him something with my SCA name.

It was from a potential advertiser and her name was Ekaterina A. I've just never seen the name shortened to that mundanely.

Was just a little weird.

12th Night

For those who have not heard, at AEthelmearc 12th Night I will be taking my first Associate - jlbooth76.

Looking at the event schedule and seeing court is at 1:30 it will probably happen just before or just after court. I do not believe in taking associates during court. But those who are present and near when it happens are welcome to witness.

no scroll

well, the scroll is not getting done. We have to redo it.

I accidentally ripped the illumination when I tried to take the scroll of the paper pad.

Luckily it is not due until the 30th. So we have time to redo it.

I just feel like crap for destroying Dicea's work.

Glad Game - Day 7

All but one thing on my evening to-do list got done and that one thing can't be done at all right now anymore.

Plans for weekend are coming along. Looking forward to dinner tomorrow with people I love.

Disc 2 of Sarah Jane Adventures was fun.

Warm bed and puppy snuggles await me.
