I'm awake, but cold. I refuse to turn the thermostat up right now. (I'm trying to be good and keep the programmed thermostat at what it was when I was working -so yes, it gets colder in the house during the day. But I own sweaters and have thumbs enough to make tea).

I slept hard but am exhausted. I'd like to sit and work on scrolls but right now can't focus on them. I'll probably put my Netflix DVD in (Doogie Houser, MD season 1, disc 1) and sit and stare at the tv for a while.

It's early yet.

I did get a load of laundry going so I can't say I haven't done anything today.

No paint today

I've found myself in a distracted, unfocused frame of mind today. Not at all the way to work on a scroll when what is left is lots of fine line detail work.

So instead I'm going to spend the rest of the day curled up in my recliner, being warm, watching DVDs and working on the Bunny Blanket. When that gets monotonous I may break out the Brites Blanket that i have had the yarn for for ages but haven't gotten around to starting. Or break out the gloves and scarf I had started for my aunt but didn't get finished for Xmas.

I don't know who Brites is going to be for yet. I may be daring and make it for myself. Who knows.

I know that 2009 was pretty horrid for a lot of people, and to be honest, 2010 has been no great shakes (for many of you) so far. One way we might make the rest of 2010 a bit better is to spread some love around. So if you care to reply to this post I will give you a response of something I like about you.
