I know that 2009 was pretty horrid for a lot of people, and to be honest, 2010 has been no great shakes (for many of you) so far. One way we might make the rest of 2010 a bit better is to spread some love around. So if you care to reply to this post I will give you a response of something I like about you.

Here is what I really admire about you. I love your quiet way of dealing with common sense things. You act with iron resolve when it is time, laugh when you feel like it and soldier on in the face of the rest of the world. That which needs to get dome gets done.

I like how you have the ability with the camera to capture a moment. Not everyone will understand that moment, but through you I see it.

It may not be pretty. It may be disturbing. But it is a moment. And that is the definition of art.

I don't know if I have the words to express how much you mean to me. Over the years, you have come into my life and the life of my chosen family and made it ... more.

You pitch in with a smile and a "I've got power tools". You offer support and a "Someone has to change the cat box, and I have thumbs."

You wander in in flannel jammies, an electric gizmo and "Who wants REAL coffee."

I love watching and reading about your explorations of self. The growth and learning you are going through is an inspiration to me.

There are many days when I really want to be you when I grow up. (Of course there are just as many days when I think... you know one Much Ado is probably more than the world can deal with)
