Glad Game 2019 - January 8, 2019

* Finished book #4 of the year. Was not as thrilled about it as I had hoped. On to the next book!

* Got myself a ticket for the special Fan Event for the sneak preview of "Captain Marvel". Very much looking forward to it.

* Signed up to judge at the Ealdormere Kingdom A&S competition. It's literally just over the bridge (meaning time and distance it is closer than my next in-Kingdom event) so I have no excuse to not go. I've always liked the event and am looking forward to seeing friends I don't get to see much because of the whole international border between us.

* hit my walking goal and doubled my water intake goal.

* Did not actually scream at the TV when I watched the Presidential Address, but I think I pulled some muscles rolling my eyes and sticking my tongue out at the TV.

DNF

I got to 25% of the audiobook and called it quits. I found I was growing to hate the characters, thought they were doing stupid things and just did not care how it ended.

I wanted to read/listen to the book before I saw the movie but frankly, I no longer care about that and will just watch the movie instead.

Life's too short to invest in books that do not bring you joy/happiness/contentment or at least a feeling of curiosity to how it will play out.
