I got to 25% of the audiobook and called it quits. I found I was growing to hate the characters, thought they were doing stupid things and just did not care how it ended.
I wanted to read/listen to the book before I saw the movie but frankly, I no longer care about that and will just watch the movie instead.
Life's too short to invest in books that do not bring you joy/happiness/contentment or at least a feeling of curiosity to how it will play out.
