2019 reading challenge: A book with at least one million ratings on Goodreads

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

actually a 3.5.

I had been meaning to read this book for a couple years now... pretty much since I saw the movie. I do not have a lot to say. I am not the target audience (being a 45 year old woman and not a 13 year old boy) but that does dot mean it wasn't good. The movie was close enough to the book (though aging Percy up to high school age instead of keeping him at 12 was a good move for a film).

I cannot say that I'm going to actively seek out any of the other books in the series but should I stumble upon the next, I might pick it up.
