Continued saga with car shopping.
Jun. 7th, 2019 07:15 amI came into work this morning and started looking at other dealerships online. The one right around the corner from my house has a van, a year older but has 16K less miles and a LOT of bells and whistles that the one I have an agreement signed on doesn't have. And before negotiations is $600 less (before taxes and fees) than the other one.
So I've put in a request to test drive it. first question I will ask before anything "if I want it, can I drive it off the lot tomorrow... do you have the title?".
Fingers crossed... prayers to whatever will hear them... big sigh. Transitowne is already prepared for me to cancel the other purchase. I know it will be a huge pain in the ass to change the loan and insurance but at this point I feel like my hands are tied.
I just want a new car. Is that really too much to ask?
Oh... yes, you better believe that I will be complaining to the Better Business Bureau about this just to have it on record. But AFTER things are settled.
