Griz lived on an island in the North Atlantic with family. This is long after the world as we know it has ended because something caused humans to stop reproducing like we used to.
One day a stranger comes to trade and tell stories. The next morning the stranger is gone and has taken Griz's dog, Jess. This is unacceptable and Griz sets out to get Jess back.
If I tell any more of the plot I will give away huge plot twists.
This book is written as a memoir style by Griz. I really enjoyed it. And the author reads the book, and in this case it works very well.
Every time I though I knew what was going to happen next, PLOT TWIST. I found the book engrossing, engaging and entertaining and would recommend the audiobook to any who like YA dystopia and a good adventure story.
