Glad Game 2021 - April
May. 3rd, 2021 08:22 pmGot two things on the white board “like to do” list done. Put together a new office chair and sewed a southwest print wrap/shrug
Health:
• Lost 1.9 lbs./month (lost 3.7 lbs./ytd) (technically more than that, but I gained like 5 then lost it before the end of the month.
• Lost .25 inches overall/month (lost 3/ytd)
• Out of 30 days I achieved:
o Hitting water goal (64-112 oz.) 13 days
o Hitting walking goal (8,000+ steps) 6 days
o Hitting reading goal (20 minutes of actual reading) 11 days
I made 17 messy art pieces – sold several
I finished 6 books
By mid-April I became as immune to COVID-19 as I’m going to get.
I got Puck a new fish tank and populated it with 5 little golden guppies. He spends happy time watching the fishies, which I find so cute.
Went to very part time at job as I started a new full time one. I got to spend a month working from home, getting Grimmy snuggles throughout the day and learned new things. Sadly, that job did not pan out and I had to say good-bye to it on the last day of the month. But the upshot to having remained part time at the other job was that through some negotiating, I was able to call that job and re-secured full-time position there so there will be no interruption in full time employment.
I learned things about myself, my needs and what I need to do to make myself content (even if I cannot currently do happy – I will accept content).
