My rating: 2 of 5 stars
More of a 2.5 stars, but not a 3 in my book.
19 year old Priya has had to return from Stanford after contracting a very severe case of Lyme Disease. To feel connected to the world she joins a Tumbler group for people living with chronic illness. There she meets and befriends Brigid. Not one to pry, Priya is not sure what Brigid suffers from other than it completely wipes her out and makes her anemic every month.
Through their online friendship the two discover they live less than 2 hours apart, which becomes good to know when Brigid suddenly stops communicating with Priya or posting to the forum. Marshalling her strength, Priya borrows the family car and drives to Brigid's house only to discover the cause of her friend's illness... Bridgid has Lycanthropy.
At first Brigid is mad that Priya has learned the truth and that because of Priya's visit someone else in her town has found out as well. That someone else being Spencer, one of the local Animal Control Officers. The three strike a friendship that becomes tested as Brigid's condition worsens and could potentially risk the safety and welfare of not just the friends but maybe the town as well.

The title caught my eye and as a fan of silly paranormal I figured what the hell. Sadly I am not the audience for this book.
I find that as I get older I have no patience for stupid late teenage angst. And this book was rife with it.
There were other things that bugged me too... using the term URL to mean Username (BIG difference), as well as other thing revolving around the social media. Perhaps some of that would have been better had I read the book instead of listening to it. However, I think it was Soneela Nankani's reading that helped me stick with the book.
All in all it wasn't bad but it's not something I'm going to tell others to go read
