"A Non-fiction book"
The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
4.5 but I round up
The Anthropocene is defined as "the current geological age, viewed as the period during which human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment."
Novelist John Green (The Fault in Our Stars) and host of a podcast by the same name as the book, looks into aspects of humans that have had some kind of influence on ourselves as a species and on the world around us. The then gives these things a rating of 1-5 stars.
I found this to be funny, poignant, and incredibly sad from chapter to chapter. This book is compiling the episodes of his podcast with some new things added in just for the book.
I recommend,
