Hi I'm Ekat, and I'm a retainer.

It all started harmless enough. Something to do on weekends with friends. You know.. a social thing. I could stop anytime I want to.

But before I knew it, I was traveling to events that were more than just a day trip so I could retain.

Then I began following around royals and tin hats that I didn't know just so I could be helpful.

Feasts were no longer something I ate, but something I served.

I made sure to buy a minivan though I'm single and have no kids - just so I could be sure someone I knew had a vehicle large enough to transport thrones if it was needed.

*tears start*

One night I woke up to find myself standing behind a chair in my living room with a goblet in my hand.

That's when I knew I needed help.
