Assuming that other people's lives are totally under control while you're a big mess is silly. Everyone has problems. In fact, part of being human is having problems. In a strange way, this revelation is cause for celebration.

Comments under "overview" I agree are cause for great celebration and relief. So many of us suffer from that "terminal uniqueness": no one feels the way we do, no one else has the same fears, no one else's life is such a mess, no one else feels so inadequate, so incapable. In fact, we think, everyone else is just the opposite: happy, confident, secure...so together. We compare our insides to other's outsides. Sure recipe for discontent. Over the last few years have learned that, surprise!, I am not unique, that my fears and self-doubt (cause it is all fear based) are the same with most everyone. What a comfort. Must work at it though. Still manage someitmes to slip into the fear, that's where I remind myself that I am human just like everyone else. Takes practice but worth it. God bless, good night.
