I hate spring

And not just from the wonderful return of allergy season. not that there really is a break in allergies for me, just a break on the allergen I'm reacting to at any given moment.

I hate it because I become a mix of emotions and needs.

I'm feeling anxious and restless and need to do something.

I want to hide and avoid people and not do shyte.

I'm trying to be good this week. Well... in that I haven't been to the Doma since Sunday. I have no plans to go to it Saturday either. Despite the want to get the front door painted, sand the 1/2 bath and wipe it down to prepare to stain the window sill and paint the walls, and stain the spare room windowsill.

Instead Saturday gets to be take Tzar and Talia to the vet for an overdue check up. Then Boo and I (and maybe the Boogie) plan on going to the Zoo. I haven't been to the zoo in months and it will be nice to see my lemur buddies again.

I miss the Rochester Zoo though. I miss the wolves there. I miss going and just sitting for hours with them and watching them. I miss playing "catch me" with them and ignoring all the two-leggeds who become facinsated by a human playing with a wolf when there is two fences between them. There really isn't any animal at the Buffalo zoo who gives such great interaction as the Rochester wolves do. The lemurs are close but they get distracted easily by stuff and the humans annoy me by constantly referring to them as monkeys.

I'd still like to go see the Toronto zoo at some point. Haven't been there since I was in 7th grade.

Maybe when I go down for eternalmusings's graduation we can go back to the National Zoo. Though I will only be down there for SAturday day and Sunday morning. We shall see. That's another thing I need to get planning on so I can get the money to pay for the plane tickets.

Sunday I might get over to the Doma. It would be nice as I would like to get the window sill in the spare room stained. That's all that needs to be done, save moving the big dresser in, to complete the room.

I should also get laundry together to take over to the Doma so that I can get something productive done for myself/apartment while doing stuff at the house.

I have a writing assignment due today. I'm partly blocked on it. I know what I want to write but getting the muse to actually sit down and help has been tough. Oh well. I'll post a topic for those playing along later.

Ok, I should go do something productive. Don't feel like it though. Wah.
