M*A*S*H I grew up watching this show with my father. It was one of the few things we did together that didn't end up with him yelling at me. I always loved the show and as I grow older I watch it every night and find great comfort in the comedy. And of course as I grow older I get more of the jokes and subtle nuances. Someday I may break down and buy the DVD's.
Highlander a guilty pleasure. I like the Highlander Movies (with exception of #2) and LOVE the series. I even liked the Highlander: The Raven Series. I started my exploration into Fanfic with Highlander and still return there everynow and then.
Romance I believe in Romance. I like the idea of seduction and courting and love. To this end I also like the genre of books, though I lean towards regency romance and super/paranormal romance than modern.
In Death (asked by both Hearne and deadised) This is a series of books written by JD Robb (pseudonym for Nora Roberts). Takes place in the near future (2060) and follows homicide detective Eve Dallas. While it does have some romance to it (it's written by Nora Roberts afterall) it doesn't overly focus on it and I have enjoyed the story arc, the character development and general mystery that occurs throughout the series. I currently own all the books save for the latest that just came out in paperback.
Travel I like to travel. I wish I had the money and resources to do more of it. I'm perfectly happy playing sight-seeing tourist. Just the idea of getting away and seeing something new excites me.
Amanda Quick I think furryjackel asked about this one as well. Amanda Quick is the pseudonym of romance author Jayne Castle (aka Jane Ann Krentz). Amanda Quick is the name she uses for her regency romances. In fact it was an Amanda Quick novel (The Paid Companion) that got me into the genre. I like her writting voice and find her characters to not be too stereotypical or false. Lately she has been migrating to a paranormal feel to her stories though staying in the Regency era.

Icons:
I love roses. Apricot to be exact. Not peach, not pink... APRICOT. I saw the picture and loved the image. I have ended up using this icon to represent times of sorrow, quiet introspection and love. (example - it was the icon I used while my mother was dying)
it's from The Little Mermaid when Flounder gets scared and ends up in the helmet. I use it for when I experience a "double blink" or something else that makes me go "huh."
It's a picture of someone doing crochet. And since to do crochet you need a crochet hook, I found the label "hooker" hysterical. I swiped the image from someone to use when I'm talking about a crochet project I am doing.
I don't remember where I got it from but I liked the visual. To me it represents creativity and expression. So I use it when talking about my writting.
The other two icons will be explained privately.
