I found the proof!
May. 23rd, 2007 05:54 pmFor a while now I've been reading the vast amounts of romance novels that was part of the legecy from mom. I have mostly been sticking to regency romances and had noticed a trend.
The lead couple MUST have sex in a carriage (preferably moving but not required) by page 272.
Today I found the proof.
I finished reading "The Lady in Question". It was actually a fairly good story. But on page 254 Delia (the female lead) looks to Tony (the male lead) and said "I have never been seduced in a carriage". There is my proof that it is a requirement for regency romances to have the couple making out in a carriage by page 272.
