I drempt of you last night. From time to time I find that you haunt my dreams and I despise you for it as much as I love you for it.

I felt your arms encircle me and hold me close. I looked up and saw you smiling down at me. Words were never exchanged but none were needed.

My body still responds to the memory of the kiss you gave me and the feel of your strong yet lithe frame pressed against me.

Details are unimportant. You do not need to know what it is that I dream that we do. If you bothered to show in real life an ounce of what you show in my dreams you would have me heart and soul.

But I know I can never compare to those who you give your affections to. I'm not tall enough, blonde enough, thin enough. I'm just the one to hang out with and pal around with.

Will I see you this year? That depends on you and others in your life. I will be there. Our usual meeting place. I cannot control your actions and would never want to.
