When I make the mistake of going grocery shopping on an empty stomach, I understand that I will be tempted by yummy looking prepared foods and "quick cook" things in your meat department.

Therefore I didn't think twice about spending the money for the "salmon burgers" you had. They looked yummy. Nice and salmon pink with what looked like bits of onion and parsley. 5 minutes on the george formans and I would have a salmon burger. Just what I was in the mood for.

But I do not know who you have for recipe consulting but... FIRE HIM/HER. Especially if they were the ones that told you that sausage seasoning and salmon go together. Three bites of one of the two burgers and I felt ill from the flavor and I had to chuck it.

Thank you for making me waste $5 that I could have used on a prefectly nice salmon filet instead.

Now I have to... at 9pm... figure out if I want to bother trying to calm my stomach down to eat something else or give up and go to bed and just have a big breakfast in the morning.

Signed...

Me.

I don't know how often you go there, but I would tell them. You should bring back your receipt and tell them how awful they were. If you don't, they'll never understand why they aren't a big seller. They'll think people don't like salmon burgers. As opposed to people disliking badly seasoned salmon burgers. I hate it when that happens!

yeah i might. They are a good grocery chain. (In fact Food Network named them #1 at their Food Network Awards) and from all I've seen they do take letters and customer comments seriously. Even if I don't go back with the receipt I might write them.

I'm just miffed cuz I was really looking forward to some nice fish for dinner.

There is nothing worse than having your mouth water for something only to have something entirely different (and unpleasant) hit your tastebuds. Has happened to me. Ick!

I have a genuine aversion to things to eat that I can't identify readily. It saves me more often than not.

There's so much you can do with a salmon filet that doesn't make it icky.

Well (and remember I used to work for them) I would go on the website and speak with corporate about it because either the local store is making them not according to corporate specs. or corporate needs to know the recipe sucks. They really like to hear feedback and if you bitch they will probably send you a giftcard.
