I AM NOT SHAKEY CHEESE

So this morning I started the Zoloft. Well, the generic version of it. I took it at 9am. Went about my morning stuff. Got errands run. Bought fabric (FYI, check out your Joanne's bargin section. 100% cotton Velveteen for $4/yd!).

Came home, started laundry. made lunch. Ate lunch.

Then head started feeling funny so I laid down. Dicea came over and said I was stoned. She made me drink a couple glasses of water. That's when it started. I'm shaking. Not seizure like shakes. Just annoying shakes. Thankfully I knew it was a potential side effect when starting or I'd think I had a sudden onset of Parkinson's.

It's now almost 3 hours later and the shaking is now starting to calm down. But it's annoying.

AS for the shakey cheese reference. Dicea's been trying to call me that since the shakes started.

Color me not amused.

Oh dear.

So, for me, side effects start evil and go away/reduce to minorness within 2-3 weeks.

Or you could ask for a different anti-depressent.

Yup. I also lost my appetite, but I didn't consider that a bad side effect. All side effects wore off in about a month. I was very amusing at the grass roots meeting at work stoned off my ass!

Give it a week, and the side effects should go away. When I had started Zoloft, I had the jitters for a week, which gave me a stunning typing speed. After a week, things normalized as my system adjusted to the medication. Soon, you should experience the benefits without the initial side effects.

I also sympathize on the Parkinsons worry. Made the doctor look at that the other day. It's just unnerving.
