Good Sunday so far

I woke up early for a weekend. Normally I wake up between 7:30 and 8:45 naturally. Today I was wide awake at 6:30am.

I lounged for a bit reading The Half-Blood Prince (I'm re-reading it before I start DH) then got up. Cleaned the kitchen, put away clean dishes put dirty ones in the dishwaser, cut up the meat for beef stew and got that going in the slow cooker.

I emptied the dryer and started another load of laundry.

AFter that I went out to the mall and got my hair cut, my diamond necklace in for it's semi-annual inspection and ate lunch. Oh yeah... also took the van into Sears and got the overdue inspection taken care of as well as an oil change. Now it's set for Pennsic (aside from packing it).

After the mall I went by the apartment and got a load of stuff (mostly things I think I need for War) and am home now.

Trying now to decide if I start cutting out the pants that I do need for war, the couple hoods I would like for war and the couple tunics/dresses that would be nice to have for war or if I should either take a nap or mow the front lawn.

I"m kinda leaning towards the nap idea but we shall see.

Doing pretty well. Woke at 5. FInished the precooking/prep, edged the tent hangings I didn't get edged last year, did some other prep. Practiced for Pennsic and took a nap from 10-noon. With Ed 's help got just about everything for Pennsic packed and gathered in the basement. Just finished cutting tunics for the child. Going to sit for a few before starting serging a slew of underclothes.

Chicken curry is in the freezer. :-)

Chicken Curry! Whoot! Date of dinner doesn't matter to me. So long as it is not until 1st Thursday or after.

After consulting with finances and the Dicea and my conscience, I'm not going down this weekend and then coming home for 2.5 days then going down to stay.

Glad you were productive too.
