I have spent the majority of the weekend flat on my back in bed. The coughing is only occasional and not productive. The sneezing and/or runny nose is constant. Chills then sweats. Joint aches.

Yes boys and girls, Ekat has a cold. I know it's a cold because with the flu I feel 10 times worse and with no desire to do anything. When I have a cold I feel just miserable enough to not to want to get out of bed but with just enough extra energy to feel restless.

I've watched the majority of season five of Highlander. Pissed off because I fell asleep just at 9pm last night so I missed the Sci-Fi channel showing of the new Highlander movie. Luckily they are replaying it at 9pm on Thursday. Of course this means I'll miss the season finale from last season of CSI. Oh well. Highlander for me.

Today I went to the store and bought cold meds cuz I was running out. I actually got proofed to by Nyquil. WTF. Yes I know you can get drunk on the stuff. There's a reason I guy I went to college with was nicknamed "Nyquil". But still. Isn't it bad enough to be sick and go out in public in sneakers, a ratty pair of sweats and the death warmed over expression that they then have to ask you if you are old enough to buy the meds to make you feel better. Trust me, if I'm sick enough to need Nyquil I'm NOT going to look like my Driver's License picture.

Oh well. Off to a hot shower, my vapor rub and my nyquil so I can go to work tomorrow.

And of course it's dress up tomorrow. The Bills got their asses kicked today and Monday's are only casual if the bills win. But somehow I don't think they won with a score of 3-27 Pittsburgh.
