he's gotten it backwards

I come home and let the little guy out of his pen.

he plays a bit. then I see him going piddle on his tea towel rather than the paper.

I look at him and sigh. I tell him.. "You're supposed to go piddle on the paper, not your towel".

As I turn to get a tissue and the urine gone I hear something... I turn and look and ...

Grimm is dragging the piddle paper over and puts it over his towel.

So he papered his piddle rather than piddled his paper.

Yup--way smart. Of course you're giving me flashback nightmares of the paper trained dogs in my past and reminding me of all the reasons why we don't do that any more. Yeah, I know he's tiny with no fur. I still cringe.

He's too little to be outside very long. He can't tolerate cold too well so I"m paper training.

Ah. I've always found it troublesome to eventually get them off the paper.

Cannon was an added challenge, given that we had no idea what had been done with her for the first six months of her life (besides knowing that she wasn't housetrained), but she's in the game now.
