So I realize I'm missing a key ingredient in making peanut butter cups. Namely - peanut butter.

So between having no peanut butter and being out of soda I had reason to go to the grocery store.

I pick up a bunch of things I also need for the weekend and then remember - peanut butter. So I trek over to the sandwich fixin's isle and blink.

There are way too many choices. See - I don't particularly care for peanut butter unless I"m sick. So I decide if I'm going to do peanut butter, I'll get something I know I will be able to eat. Thus starts the label reading. WTF?!?!?!? Do you have any idea how hard it is to find peanut butter that's just peanuts and maybe a bit of salt? AND not pay almost $5 for a jar.

But I did manage to find some that was on sale without added oils and crap.

Then I had to go get the graham crackers for the cups. Again - how hard is it to get graham cracker flavored graham crackers. Harder than I thought.

But I have gotten all I need to make the cookies I want. (Well Dicea needs to get me two ingredients for the cookies she's requested). Now I can finish up my baking before people arrive for the weekend.

these last couple weeks have made me realize - if I could have a once a week out of the house pt job, I would very happy being a kept woman/homemaker/stay at home mom.
