The job fair was OK. Talked with one person who was looking for an Admin Assistant. He wasn't sure what their HR department would say. See the position requires an Associates or better. I have 4 years of college but no degree. I also have 10 years of experience. So he's going to present me to HR and see. It does help that of those 10 years, 5+ are in a hospital setting and I've done NIH grant prep, JACHO prep and state agency reporting.

The interview with the law firm went well and I wouldn't mind the job there.

I have an interview tomorrow at Noon with Bridges TV (http://www.bridgestv.com/home/home.html) who is looking for an Admin Assistant. I'll just keep plugging along until something comes along.

I'm glad the interview with the law firm went well. Job fairs are hit or miss but are worth going to for those hits!

I got rejected recently because I have no degree. Whatevs, I have 8 years of intense experience.

Don't worry too much about no degree, a lot of places just use it as a boilerplate, and the places that take it seriously over experience, well, my experience has been that those are places you would rather not work anyway.
