Went really really well. It's a small company, as in 25 people and only 3 years old. Everything they are looking for I can do and then some. I had interviews with the main interviewing guy and then the company GM. They have scheduled me for Tuesday at 2pm to come in and interview with the
CEO, whom I would be supporting the most.

They didn't seem uncomfortable with my minimum salary request. They have basic benefits. health insurance after 90 days (2/3 company paid, 1/3 employee paid), dental at full pay by employee. They don't have a 401K yet (though the quote is "we are starting to look into it, we wanted to make sure the company survived first"). I did not ask about vacation/PTO as that is generally a first interview no-no.

I think it would be a good fit. I liked both of the people I interviewed with. Now just have to wait to see how it is with the CEO.

My question is... because I have the second interview already scheduled, do I send the follow up letter now or wait until after my interview on Tuesday?

50/50. Will they get it before you actually arrive? Are there any questions they'd need time to find answers to?

If it's just a "thanks for the interview" ya-ya I'd wait.

My thought is based on realistic delivery. Will your letter arrive Monday or Tues? If Monday, fire away. If Tues.. I'd hold until after the second interview. Honestly, I think having a strong followup with the CEO and then nailing it home with the letter is the strategy I would follow.

Yeah, what hearne said, these days a follow-up letter is *usually* one of two things; 1) 'Hey, remember me...still here' or 2) Eh, I was not at my best, lets show them I am professional.

With a second interview scheduled you should wait to thank them for their time until they are in deliberations.

BTW, Gratz on a second round interview, that is always a good sign, will keep my fingers crossed for you :)
