If I ever make cake mix cookies again with classic white, maybe sprinkles or regular chocolate chips would be better.

This time it was classic white cake mix and hershey's special dark chips.

I think for the special dark the mix needs to be yellow cake or maybe devil's food.

I've done lemon and chocolate chips in the past but never with the special dark.

Hmmm.

Next time will probably be the cherry chip mix I have in the pantry.

one cake mix any flavor and brand
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 Tbsp water

mix together. Add chips, nuts, sprinkles as desired

drop on cookie sheet in cookie shaped blobs

bake at 325ยบ for about 14 minutes or so.

cool

eat.

If you are not nut-allergic, there's a recipe for sesame-and-nut cookies in my memories. I needed a sweet fix one weekend and got dangerous creative.

I will definately check it out. I'm the type that I get restless or bored and I bake. the cake mix cookies are the easiest and fastest to do so I make them a lot. But will break out the cookbook an whip up something just cuz.

Luckily nuts is one of the few things i'm not allergic to so I will most definately give your recipe a try.

Consider this a vote for the marble cookies next.

They don't need any chips at all.
