Dicea has been keeping me sane.

She is the bestest best friend a person could have.

I couldn't find all the parts to the carpet cleaner. She said to call around and find a place that rents wet-dry vacs. I found one and she went and got the 20 gallon wet-dry vac for me and has brought it here so that I can get started on sopping up water.

she also took Grimm with her so I do not have to constantly contend with a "helpful" puppy. The cats hate the squishy carpet so I don't have to worry about them.

I"m going to grab a quick bit of protein and get to work.

I can deal. Deep breath. Deep breath.

another thing to consider

would be to talk to the people who rented her the wet-dry, and see if they have fans to rent, too. you'll want to dry that out as quickly as possible, or you'll have a mold problem.

if you can't and need to clean the floor surface, consider using chlorox.

pillars of sanity are good things to have. *hugs* i am slowly catching up on lj. then i help a friend move. cats played chase each other across the sleeping human at 615 today :P at least that should mean i don't stay up until 1230 like last night. but the cranky pants are trying to crawl on my body as i type. little doubt in my mind, they'll win
