baronessekatI got the majority of the sopping up with pass one of the wet-dry vac. It's a 20 gallon vac and I had to empty it three times.
the carpet is still wet but at least there are no standing puddles. I've cranked the heat on as high as it will go. While not the most comfortable for me it will help dry it out faster.
I'm taking a break before I tackle pass two.
but pretty much the plans for the weekend have become: rip out the carpet.
