The observation of the day

It's a nice feeling when you grab your "I'm feeling kinda skinny" jeans and find that you can reclassify them into the "I'm not feeling so skinny" category.
By the scale I haven't lot anything so I guess it's getting redistributed.
I'd honestly like to loose about 15-20 lbs. And while part of it is vanity, mostly it's health related. If I can drop and keep of those extra 15-20 my asthma should improve, my back would stop hurting, my ankles should ache less at the end of the day.
But... for now I will settle for my skinny jeans being reclassified as not so skinny jeans.

have you taken a nice big dump recently? Poo can weigh a lot, particularly if you're one of those "every 3 days whether I need it or not" types.
Have you started an excersize program a month ago or more? Muscle builds faster than you might expect and can completely cancel out any fat loss on the scale if you're only talking a few pounds and aren't very rigerous in weighing.

The only real exercise I get is walking to and from the copier and printer at work every day and up the stairs at home to use the potty.
People at work have commented that I look thinner too. I'm beginning to think the scale's possesed.
Luckily I learned a long time ago not to look at just the scale or just at the size the clothes are. but to take into consideration both as well as how I plain feel.
That got me into trouble when I was younger. I looked at the fact that I was I size 14 dress but didnt' look at the fact that my pants were a size 8. I have a large rib cage and only saw the size of the dress/shirts I had to buy.
I'm actually kinda psyched that my skinny jeans are now jeans I can grab and wear when I'm not feeling very skinny. Now I just gotta find where I put my belt.
